Shore Juniper, Juniperus conferta and cvs.
Also called Dwarf Shore Juniper. This northern looking ground cover is in the Cypress family. Have aromatic, needle-like leaves which are only ½ in. long. Leaves are soft but sharp tipped with an appealing blue-green and silver cast. This wonderful ground hugger reaches a maximum height of only 18 in. but can spread to cover a diameter of 10 foot. Likes full sun, good drainage and is very drought tolerant once established. All junipers are cold hardy to South Florida.
